The objective of the Tobacco Act is a smoke-free and nicotine-free Finland

If achieved, in ten years it would prevent:

  • Over 1,100 cases of lung cancer
  • Over 6,000 cases of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Nearly 3,000 cases of coronary artery disease
