Sustainable development prevents hunger

Sustainable development prevents hunger.

Tobacco causes hunger.

Approximately 4 million hectares of agricultural land is used to grow tobacco.
Tobacco is grown on land that would otherwise be used to grow food.

If developing countries replaced their tobacco farms with ones growing food, about 10-20 million people could be fed.
